Walt Petrie's vision and retail industry leadership, combined with
the operational expertise of partner Phil Ross, is supported by a blue

Our senior leadership team has deep experience with America's leading
real estate enterprises, architectural, engineering and construction firms,
national retailers, and in government and community relations. With an
accountable team and less bureaucracy, we can deliver faster
response and results for all of our services: Leasing, Development and Property Management.
Our Chairman, Walt Petrie, has a reputation unmatched in retail development.
For more than thirty years, he's been the driving force behind many
of the most successful properties in the nation, turning them into thriving
landmarks of economic activity. In addition to managing his own development
companies for many years, Walt has held leadership positions at The May
Company and The Taubman Company.
At Petrie Ross Ventures, Walt oversees corporate relations, leasing, financing,
pre-development efforts and evaluates new real estate opportunities. Walt
envisions what can be accomplished - and leads
the team to make it happen.
Our President, Phillip Ross is a founding partner, overseeing corporate
operations and all phases of project development. He partnered with Walt
at Petrie Dierman Kughn as Director of Development. Previously, at Western
Development Corporation (now the Mills Corporation), Phil
was instrumental in creating Georgetown Park Mall, Market Square and Washington Harbour
in DC. He was also Project Manager at The Taubman Company for several regional
malls.
Terry L. Richardson is our Executive Vice President of Development and
Construction. A founding partner, he is deeply involved in acquisitions
and project financing as well as overseeing all aspects of our development
and construction. Terry has more than 20 years of experience in the industry,
including serving as Partner and General Manager for Lane Engineering and
a Construction Project Manager for the international consulting firm of
Dames and Moore.
James C. "Chip" DiPaula, Jr. is our Senior Vice President
and Chief Operating Officer. Chip manages day-to-day operations, property
management, marketing, financing and company-wide strategies and systems.
Prior to joining the firm, he served as Chief of Staff and Budget Secretary
to former Maryland Governor Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr., overseeing all the
executive branch agencies and the State's $29 billion annual operating
budget.
